The study looked at how Vitamin C (also called L-AA) can help dogs in a mining town with high lead levels in their blood. After giving the dogs Vitamin C for 14 days, researchers found it helped reduce some bad stuff in the blood, like signs of stress and kidney problems. It also seemed to help younger dogs lower their lead levels more than older dogs.
