Guide dogs help people who can't see well, but not all dogs are right for this job. This study used computers to look at dog behavior and trainer notes to better predict which dogs would become great guide dogs. The new method was better at picking the right dogs than using behavior checklists alone.

The study talks about how solar panels don't always get the same amount of sunlight, which makes it hard to get the most power from them. Scientists created a new method, called M-DHO, using ideas from the hunting behavior of Asiatic wild dogs and another technique to solve this problem. Their method helps find the most power more quickly and accurately than others, even when the sunlight is different across the panels.
